Caring for Basketball Jerseys

After you buy a basketball jersey, what can you do to make it stay in pristine condition? What can you do to make sure it always looks and smells great. Hear are some tips on how you should treat your jersey after you but it and are wearing it for awhile.

Washing the basketball jersey: Wash the basketball jersey in cold water. Put the setting on your washer to delicate or slow. Once washed, hang it on a clothes dryer rack indoors. Do not dry it because that can ruin it and do not dry it outside because the sun can fade it and damage the numbers and names on the jersey causing them to shrivel up. You do not need to ever iron you jersey because you should be hanging it up causing it to be crease free.

Storing your basketball jersey: Hang up you basketball jersey on all occasions. If you fold up your jersey, the numbers and names can become cracked or peel of. If you do chose to fold your jersey, make sure you do not fold it over the names or numbers. A good place to hand it up though is on the wall to show it and your colors off the and then take it down for the occasional wearing.
